Solano County Public Health Division has partnered with Empower Solano, powered by BrandGov to boost local businesses and promote spending in Solano County. Shop Solano is designed to keep local dollars local, supporting our local businesses while investing in our community.
We start with a directory of all the businesses that make Solano County the premier destination to shop. Shop Solano is the only place to discover, explore, and get to know our local small businesses.
In December, the Shop Solano gift card program launches enticing our community members to purchase digital gift cards that can be redeemed at participating shops throughout the county. It’s easy to join and best of all participating is FREE!

About Shop Solano
The Shop Solano Directory and eGift Card program is designed to entice and reward people for supporting small local businesses in the county while providing the community with safe and convenient shopping experiences. Empower Solano powered by BrandGOV is working alongside the Solano County Public Health Division to boost local businesses and promote keeping our local dollars local. Over the last few years the pandemic has negatively affected small businesses in our county. From that, we recognize how health and economic stability are intertwined. To support small business economic stability, we are launching Shop Solano to community businesses increase sales and gain exposure to new customers.
Our goal is to get ahead of a possible recession by strengthening the economic landscape within our County. Through Yiftee, an online gift card and promotion platform that allows community eGift cards to be purchased on a centralized Yiftee page and redeemed at any participating business, we truly centered the program around community building and bolstering engagement with our local businesses. The best part is there is no cost for our businesses to participate, setup is easy, and customer gift cards are managed through the Yiftee portal not by individual businesses.
